- Deputy Director of the Open Data Charter
The Open Data Charter is looking for an experienced and action-oriented leader to oversee their programmes, based in their London office. This year the Charter will lead a thought-provoking initiative to show that if data is opened up in the right way, it can help solve pressing problems faced by governments. They will do this by updating the Open Data Charter Principles and piloting a demonstration project to showcase how these global norms can be implemented in practice. They are seeking a Deputy Director to join them in stewarding this initiative.
The Deputy Director will support the delivery of the Charter’s strategy. You will be carrying out research, managing projects, overseeing consultants and working with governments and the leading organisations in the field.

- Chair of the Interim Centre for Data Ethics and Innovation
The UK government is looking to appoint a Chair to lead the interim Centre for Data Ethics and Innovation. The interim Chair will have a unique opportunity to shape the early phase of the Centre’s work, as well as help to establish the permanent Centre on a firm and credible footing.
The time commitment for this position is expected to be 2-3 days a week, for a period of up to 2 years (the precise time limit will be determined by the establishment of the permanent Centre).

- Postdoctoral Researcher Responsible Innovation in Industry at Wageningen University - NewHoRRIzon project
The Project “Excellence in science and innovation for Europe by adopting the concept of Responsible Research and Innovation (NewHoRRIzon)” sets out to promote the acceptance of RRI in Horizon 2020 (H2020) and beyond. It will work out the conceptual and operational basis to fully integrate RRI into European and national research and innovation (R&I) practice and funding. In order to accomplish this goal, NewHoRRIzon will establish altogether 18 Social Labs throughout Europe that cover all sections of H2020.
Wageningen University is Work Package leader of the work package Industrial Leadership. The overall aim of this WP is to design, test, assess, adapt and implement activities that promote the use of RRI in a social lab.
The post-doc is involved in the methodology development, the recruitment of social lab participants, interviews with stakeholders, identification of relevant projects etc. in order to identify key industries and their stakeholders, involve them in the social lab and organise workshops that identify a) existing experiences with RRI in industry, b) explore the potential and impediments of RRI in industry, and c) adapt, develop & test actions necessary to achieve RRI in industry. Besides managing the social lab, the candidate is also involved in the dissemination of the generated knowledge.
We are looking for a post-doc researcher in the field of Business Ethics, responsible innovation (RI) or Sustainable Entrepreneurship.
We offer you an employment contract for 2 years. The post is available to start as soon as possible until September 1st 2020.
