What will be the future of Responsible Research and Innovation?

The RRI Tools External Experts Meeting held on 19-20 November 2015 in Brussels was also the occasion for RRI Tools and its guests to think about what will be the future of Responsible Research and Innovation.
Philippe Galiay, Hilary Sutcliffe and Arie Rip, three experts in the field of RRI share their views in the following videos.
Dr. Philippe Galiay is the Head of Sector ‘Mainstreaming Responsible Research and Innovation in Horizon 2020 and the European Research Area’ in the Unit RTD-B7 ‘Science with and for Society’ of DG Research and Innovation (European Commission), in the context of Horizon 2020 (the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation – 2014-2020) and the European Research Area.
Hilary Sutcliffe is the Director of MATTER, a ‘think tank’ with a multi-stakeholder steering group which seeks to ‘make new technologies work for us all’ through the promotion of strong governance, the engagement of stakeholders and the focus of science and technology for social and environmental benefit.
Prof. Dr. Arie Rip is Professor Emeitus in the Department of Science, Technology, and Policy Studies (STePS) of the University of Twente.
