"RRI: New Opportunities for Business and Industry": a public lecture

Posted by University College London on 02 Apr 2015

Following the successful launch of the UCL Hub for RRI in November 2014, UCL, the RRI Tools Hub for United Kingdom, is hosting a second free public event in London: ‘Responsible Research and Innovation: New Opportunities for Business and Industry', a panel discussion featuring Nicola Herbertson, CEO and Founder of the successful social firm HAO2, and Alejandra Palermo, Open Innovation Manager at the Royal Society of Chemistry. The discussion will be chaired by Melanie Smallman, UCL RRI Hub. Everyone is welcome to join.

This event will take place in the Main Quad Pavilion at UCL, Gower St, London WC1E 6BT on Monday 20 April 2015.  Registration will be from 5:45PM, with the lecture starting at 6:15PM.  The discussion will be followed by a drinks reception.

The RRI Hub is part of the European RRI Tools project, which aims to develop a toolkit for researchers, policymakers, businesses, civil society and educational organisations to help science and innovation better reflect the needs and wishes of society. The Hub is a base for research, sharing and training on these issues.

We hope that you will be able to join us for the evening. Places will be limited and we would be grateful if you could RSVP by registering a place through Eventbrite.
